At long last Brick has Indian food, and it's AMAZING! Poor Boys Deli And Indian cuisine is the perfect takeout place: Absolutely delicious Indian food for those of us who love it and great sandwiches, fries etc. for those who prefer that kind of thing. I got chicken tikka masala, samosas and garlic naan, husband got a roast beef sub and fries. for all of it!

One final update, because credit given where credit is due, and there's been quite a few changes since my last visit (more on that later..) The new owners have re-worked a lot of things since a few months ago - gone are the confusing rows of shelves, replaced with a few tables and a more open, inviting space. There's still convenience store goods available if desired, as well as a coffee nook in the corner. Overall, a big improvement. Capitalizing on the fact that they now sell Indian food, there's authentic music playing quietly in the restaurant as well. That said, good Indian food is exactly what Brick needed, and the stuff here is downright delicious, with enough of a portion to make 2 meals out of (especially if you buy some roti / naan, which I recommend). I ordered the butter chicken and asked them to make it spicy. It came out perfect; full of flavor and a good amount of heat. Most dishes even come with a side of rice, which is a huge plus. The people behind the counter are always very friendly, offering suggestions for bread pairings, menu items, and are clearly proud of their food. I'll be back for more delicious curries, and suggest others give it a shot too!

Inside the Poor Boys sub shop is Ellie's Indian Curry Corner. Serving incredible Indian specialties. If you're into Indian Food, this is you're place. We had Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikki Masala, various rices. We had it delivered and was piping hot and very large portions enough for 2 people 2 meals. Great flavors Spices and the price was so reasonable. Give them a try!

I have been searching for good Indian food for a long time and had no idea Poor Boys also has Indian food! I ordered the samosas, roti, aloo paratha, and chicken tikka masala. All the food was absolutely delicious! I got the chicken tikka masala spicy and it didn't disappoint. The samosas are large and stuffed to the brim. My only complaint is when I called I had difficulty communicating and understanding him. I'm not dropping a star for that though because the food was that good and next time I will go in person and write down my order to fix the language barrier.

I was looking for a local spot that could deliver easily and offer a variety of options to please a crowd, and I stumbled across this deli. To my delight, I saw they also had Indian cuisine on the menu--I was so excited! Now, I know it might sound unusual to some who aren't familiar with Indian food, why are they selling out of a deli?! lol but have you ever been to OakTree road in Edison? Lol Or for those still holding onto memories of what Poor Boys used to be. But if you're looking for food packed with incredible flavor, this is the place to go! For a business meeting dinner serving 16 people, I ordered a variety of dishes: vegetable curries, lamb, chicken, naan, lentils, samosas, and, just in case some of my partners were hesitant to try something new, I ordered wings and a tray of assorted subs with chips. To my surprise, the subs were great but were almost untouched--everyone was drawn to the delicious aroma of the hot food. Everything was an absolute hit, and I'll definitely be returning. It feels great to support a small business with both heart and amazing flavor. Highly recommend stopping by or ordering from here! Thank you Shashi!!

Great Service and even better food. I normally order my go to Turkey and Provolone Sub, but this time I tried something different the Chicken Cheesesteak. They made my sub perfectly. So Yummy! We Love it here!!
